(e) Final examination. Although this exam will cover the content of the readings and lectures, it will take the form of an essay which outlines and discusses your philosophy of teaching. (15% of final grade) (f) Class participation. It is important that you come to class prepared to discuss readings and written assignments. Class meetings will include lectures, discussion, viewing of films and video tapes, group activities and student presentations. Appointments: My office hours are posted on my door (M232); generally, I will be available in the afternoons between 12:30 and 2:30, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
